Alongside recruiting to internal roles West Kent Primary Care also provides workforce support to 5 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) across West Kent offering recruitment, staff development and line management support for PCN clinical and non-clinical staff.
Since PCNs were established in July 2019 we have recruited over 80 clinical and non-clinical additional roles ranging from Operation Managers, Care Coordinators, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, First Contact Physiotherapists, Physician Associates and Paramedics. We are continuing to grow and support PCNs whilst the Direct Enhanced Services is rolled out where we expect to recruit additional clinical staff in the future.
Alongside PCN roles we have also recruited 7 GPs with specialist role in Frailty and 20 nursing and administrative staff to work in our Post Covid Assessment Service and Community Diabetes Service.
