West Kent Health Ltd was formed in 2015 with the vision of strengthening local General Practice in our area. We are a company limited by shares with our member practices being the shareholders. We are currently formed of all 52 practices in West Kent.
Our ethos is that of a ‘not for profit’ organisation. We value General Practice and feel that by strengthening our members we are also benefitting the patients in our local communities.
In December 2020, the West Kent Health Board merged with the twelve Primary Care Network Clinical Directors to form a a new Community Interest Community and rebranded itself as West Kent Primary Care. The aim of this was the development and continued growth of Primary Care in West Kent. West Kent Primary Care sits on the Integrated Care Partnership (ICP) Board.
We are made up of a core operations teams, a PCN based work force made up of clinical and non-clinical staff, and a Board of Executive Directors consisting of four dedicated and enthusiastic local GPs and twelve PCN Clinical Directors.
